Tinouca is absolutely the must go to place in Batalha. Jorge and his entire team, both in the kitchen as well as the waiters, make you feel at home. The tapas are always perfect, the wine and pairings are impeccable. You really couldn’t ask for more because it’s just not possible. PS. The giant prawns or tiger shrimp are absolutely out of this world.

The food is super tasty and (besides the asparagus) in decent size. We expected much smaller portions and were happily surprised:) I would recommend the sangria to drink. We ate the Camembert with honey and nuts which was a WHOLE Camembert. We didn’t try the meat options but the shrimp with the garlic oil was fantastic. My favorite is the beaten egg ;)

In this region of the country, its one of the best options for food, especially small portions food. The quality is really great and the staff is super nice.Highly recommended a detour to have a dinner in this area. Make a reservation.

Absolutely amazing! Great choice of tapas, staff are friendly, speak fluent english and know the menu. Can't recommend broken eggs enough, its must try!We usually drink red sangria but took berry fruit sangria by recommendation, and it was fabulous.

Great place to share some food in a family friendly place. We got to try some cheese with honey, the tuna, the olives were particularity good as the chorizo, but the best thing we had was the blood sausage. We also has some good wine and a cider on tap that is probably the best apple cider I've ever had.The only negative thing I have to say is that it's on a second floor and one person on the party has mobility issues, so it was hard to get into the restaurant.
